How to Share Your Photos
Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to share a folder containing images (or any other files) on Google Drive with anyone who has the link:
Step 1: Open Google Drive
Go to Google Drive and sign in with your Google account if you aren’t already logged in.
Step 2: Locate the Folder
Navigate to the folder you want to share. If you haven’t uploaded the folder or images yet, you can create a new folder by clicking on the “+ New” button in the top-left corner and selecting “Folder”. Then, drag and drop your images into the folder.
Step 3: Share the Folder
Right-click on the folder you want to share.
In the dropdown menu, click on “Share” (or click the "Share" icon in the top-right corner if the folder is open).
Step 4: Change Sharing Settings
In the sharing pop-up window, you’ll see an area labeled “Get Link”.
By default, it may say “Restricted”, meaning only specific people can access it. To change this:
Click on “Restricted” (or “Anyone with the link” if it’s already open).
From the dropdown that appears, select “Anyone with the link”.
Next to “Anyone with the link”, you'll see an option to set the level of access:
Viewer: People can only view the folder and its contents.
Commenter: People can leave comments but can’t edit.
Editor: People can edit the folder contents.
Step 5: Copy the Link
After selecting “Anyone with the link”, click on the “Copy link” button to copy the URL to your clipboard.
Step 6: Share the Link
Paste the link into the "Link to Photos" field at the bottom of the contact form.
